Carnegie's Patricia Benner talks about for-profit nursing education.

NURSING EDUCATION: PRIVATE, NON-PROFIT SCHOOLS
Educating Nurses author and former Carnegie Senior Scholar Patricia Benner is interviewed on KQED’s California Report's special coverage of nursing education. California's once unparalleled higher education system is on the ropes, and more and more students are turning to private for-profit schools for degrees and career training. This second part of the California Report's look at nursing education examines a market-based approach to training. Benner was also interviewed for the next segment of the series.
